USMNT to Host Haiti in Miami for Nations League Quarterfinal First Leg
First leg moved from Kingston, Jamaica to Nu Stadium in Miami amid Haiti's ongoing security situation, U.S. Soccer announced.
The U.S. Men's National Team will face Haiti in the first leg of the 2026-27 Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinals at Nu Stadium in Miami, Fla., on Saturday, Nov. 14, U.S. Soccer announced on Oct. 22. The match had originally been scheduled to take place at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.
According to U.S. Soccer, the venue change follows a request from the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) to Concacaf to allow its hosted matches to be played in the country of their opponent, citing the ongoing security situation in Haiti. The federation noted the arrangement applies to both national team and club competitions.
The move comes after the Concacaf Council approved an exceptional hosting arrangement for the fixture, U.S. Soccer said. The date and kickoff time for the second leg, scheduled for TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, remain unchanged, per the federation.
Reporting from ESPN, The New York Times, USA Today, Yahoo Sports and other outlets confirmed the relocation. The announcement came alongside news that the USMNT will close its 2026 campaign against Jamaica on Dec. 13 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
