The United States men's national team will meet Haiti in the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals on Nov. 14 in Miami and Nov. 17 in Cincinnati, with coach Mauricio Pochettino facing selection decisions ahead of the series, according to The New York Times' The Athletic and AS USA. The 'away' leg will be staged in Ohio because ongoing political unrest in Haiti has prevented Les Grenadiers from playing on home soil since June 2021, the reports said. Pochettino's side enjoyed a strong fall international window, recording four wins and 12 goals with an experimental roster. Thirteen players, including eight teenagers, made their debuts. AS USA reports that established names are expected to return for the Haiti series, including Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Tim Weah and Folarin Balogun, all of whom have recovered from injuries or sat out the last window. McKennie missed October through injury, while Pulisic and Balogun are fit again. Goalkeeper Matt Freese has earned 20 caps since June 2025, though younger options such as Brian Schwake and Diego Kochen impressed in friendlies. Central defense remains a question with Miles Robinson injured and Tim Ream retired. The U.S. is aiming to reclaim the Nations League trophy.
