US Open 2026: NYC Residents Can Buy $100 Discounted Tickets

New York City residents can purchase discounted tickets to the 2026 US Open under a program announced by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and the United States Tennis Association (USTA), according to The Haitian Times, which republished reporting by Documented NY. The offer includes 1,000 discounted tickets priced at $100 each, with a limit of two tickets per person, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sales began Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 10 a.m. at usopen.org/NYCtickets. The tickets are for Main Draw matches taking place Aug. 30 through Sept. 8. The tournament runs from Aug. 23 through Sept. 13 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, located at 124-02 Roosevelt Ave, Corona, NY 11368. Organizers said the tournament features top players including Serena Williams, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic and WTA world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka. According to the report, the US Open is one of the world's most-attended sporting events, drawing nearly 1.2 million people in 2025 and generating more than $1.2 billion in economic impact while supporting more than 7,000 jobs annually.
