On Monday, November 2, 2026, Pythagore Dumas, Minister of Youth and Sports (MJSAC), attended a celebratory dinner hosted by the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) in honor of the Haitian men's U-15 national team, according to icihaiti.com. The team had recently returned home from the FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival, held October 24 to 30 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Speaking on behalf of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, the government and the Haitian people, Dumas congratulated the players' parents, the FHF Normalization Committee, the athletes, and the technical and medical staff for representing the nation with dignity.

The report said that out of 189 participating nations, Haiti finished 61st, ranking first among Caribbean representatives and fourth within CONCACAF. The young Grenadiers scored 25 goals across 10 matches while conceding 13.

Dumas wished the team success ahead of their departure for France, where they are invited by Ligue 1 club Racing Club de Lens for a training program from November 19 to 29, 2026. He also announced that his Ministry would this week provide a check for 7 million Gourdes to the FHF for the U-14 squad, following their 2026 CFU Challenge Series victory, framing youth support as an investment in Haiti's future.
