The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) announced it has ended its collaboration with national team coach Sébastien Migné by mutual agreement, according to a federation statement reported by Le Nouvelliste and other outlets. The FHF said it saluted the professionalism and commitment of the coach, whose tenure will remain marked by Haiti's historic qualification for the 2026 World Cup — the country's return to the tournament 52 years after its first participation in 1974. The decision, taken in a spirit of mutual respect, opens a new chapter for both parties, the federation said. The federation thanked him for his contribution to the development of Haitian football and wished him success in the rest of his professional career. Reports noted that Haiti's World Cup campaign ended after three defeats — 0-1 to Scotland, 0-3 to Brazil and 2-4 to Morocco. Marca and Shafaqna also reported the departure. The FHF has not yet named a successor.
